The time has come to sell my S3, I have owned the car for 8 years. The previous owner had refurbished the car over a number of years and we have continued to do whatever work has been required. I have a file full of receipts and history of the car all the way back to a copy of the original build sheet from the factory. The most recent improvements were last year when we replaced the brake servo, installed a new alloy radiator and had the dash re-veneered. This year the car has just been serviced at RB Sportscars in Hexham and Richard has described the chassis as solid with no areas of concern.
The interior is in great condition and a very comfortable place to be especially on long distance runs. The leather has a lovely patina but no tears or cracks to speak of.
The bodywork has a small star crack on the bonnet but this is only obvious when up close to polish the car and it has been stable for a number of years. I have included some limited photos of the chassis as I can, but full access is a problem because I do not have a ramp. I have video available of the chassis and underneath of the car as far as I am able to reach and will share on request.
We are selling the car to get something which my wife is more comfortable driving. The lack of power anything in these great wee cars is both the joy and restriction!These are fantastic wee cars and a great introduction to classic motoring. This is a solid, well looked after example and will provide it's new owner with years of TVR related fun.
