Description
The X90 (or "Shortster") is a delightful 90cc mini Harley hailing from the 1970s. This was the AMF era of HD and the X90 was one of the small-engined 2 stroke bikes made in Italy by Aermacchi.
This particular bike is a 1975 (the last model year and the smallest production year) and is in fantastic condition. It has been tastefully restored by a previous owner and is now ready to be shown, held in collection, displayed in a dealership, or ridden by a true Harley fan.
The clock shows fewer than 100 miles, although it's unclear if that is original or not. However, the bike starts and runs beautifully (see video attached) and has been recently road tested. The bike is road legal, with a V5 in my name, ready to transfer seamlessly to the new owner. It also includes the original owners handbook as well as a copy of the service manuals.
The bike is being offered for sale at £9, 500. While it's difficult to price a bike as rare as this one, the price has been set based on recent auction house prices, both in the UK and in the US. This example is in better condition than any I have been able to find records of.
