Description
Beauty with performance, power with elegance.’ - Maserati
During the 1980s and early 1990s, Maserati faced challenging times. Its models struggled to embody the quintessential Italian temperament. The luxurious 3200 GT coupe, with its flowing lines, revitalized the sporty Maserati image, thanks to Giorgetto Giugiaro! The 3200 GT laid the foundation for the subsequent 4200 GT and later the Gran Turismo. Remarkably, the successful 3200 GT is the last model independently designed by Maserati.
Connoisseurs go wild over its distinctive aggressive lines, oval grille, and of course, the boomerang-shaped taillights. Incidentally, these ‘boomerangs’ were the first LED-developed taillights in a production car. The beauty of this car continues to be increasingly realized and admired each day.
The evolved 3. 2-liter growling V8 engine, equipped with, yes, two hefty turbos, unleashes 370 horses. This fiery powerplant, with its 490 Nm torque, delivers a substantial kick, akin to a biannual visit to the chiropractor. Consequently, health insurance premiums can be adjusted downwards.
The balanced chassis achieves a 50/ 50 weight distribution, enhancing sharp handling that lets the Maserati tackle corners seriously. Caution is advised with the throttle, as the 370 horses can gallop unexpectedly fast. Hence, it's advisable to avoid winding roads initially, lest it necessitates a double chiropractic appointment.
The cognac leather seats, Alcantara headliner, remain in original and excellent condition. This exquisite 3200 GT is unrestored and meticulously maintained. Its complete history is known and documented.
Don’t hold back from admiring this bellezza of a Maserati at Cool Classic Club. Manual - Italian Delivered -
