Description
Hi & thanks for looking at my advert for this 1997 Kawasaki GT550 running project bike. Please see YouTube video & details below & don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Description: The Kawasaki GT550 was a practical and reliable motorcycle that offered a smooth ride, good fuel economy, and excellent durability. It was popular with dispatch riders and known for being able to last for over 100, 000 miles. The engine was specifically designed for shaft drive, which reduced vibration and allowed for a more comfortable ride. This one is a UK bike first registered here in June 1997. Fun to ride with revvy in-line 4 engine, lightweight chassis sweet handling. 48, 873 miles showing on the clocks consistent with GOV. UK MOT history database from 2006. HPI clear with recent report present. The engine runs with no smoke as shown in the YouTube video link above however carburettors need some attention. Overall an easy project to get this bike ready for the road with the potential of covering many more miles in the future. Sold as a project without warranty. Make no mistake Japanese nineties bikes are becoming increasingly sought after and rocketing in value making an excellent investment. Priced to sell so be quick to avoid disappointment!
