Description
Morris Eight 1934 4 seater convertible.
Morris was a British car brand designed and produced by the Morris company. This company, founded by William Richard Morris (1877-1963), was initially a manufacturer of (motor) bicycles, but in 1912 decided to establish the first Morris car factory in Oxford.
The Morris eight is a small family car produced by Morris Motors from 1934 to 1948. The Morris was inspired by the sales popularity of the Ford Model Y, whose styling closely followed the Eight. The car's success enabled Morris to regain its position as Britain's largest motorcycle manufacturer.
