Description
Time to sell my 1960 Rover 100. This is a low-owner, original and very straight example in shadow green with very original green leather interior in very nice condition. Excellent door cards, headlining and carpets. The seats have no splits and the leather is supple - it would respond well to conditioning and recolouring. The car has been off the road (garage stored) for about 25 years. During storage the garage ceiling leaked and caused damage (rust spots) to the paintwork and chrome. I have not tried to start the engine but it turns on the starting handle. The car was stored with blue antifreeze in the cooling system and a little leaked maybe from the water pump (?) when I turned it over. The wiper motor also needs replacing. The mileage is around 76k and the car retains its original registration number. It will need collection on a trailer or recovery truck from RCT, South Wales. There can't be many around in such unmolested, original condition. I don't believe it has ever been welded.
