A very exciting Ariel Atom 3. 5 that's had a no expense spared track focused transformation with an emphasis on reliability and durability. To massively improve the car both for performance and durability the owner had MMR (Michael Morrison) build a Fully Forged 2. 2 Stroker Engine. A lot of work has also been carried out to enable this Atom to run on slick tyres, the main components needed for this is the Uprated Hub uprights/ Palatov billet uprights with Porsche bearings. Since completing this build the car has sadly had little use but when it has been out the results of all the work were obvious (videos available by request). The car also comes with the original wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport slick tyres, a set of 17" alloys fitted with Dunlop slicks, a set of 16" Compomotive MO1681 Alloys fitted with a set of Yokohama road legal tyres and the original rear mud guards. Not included in the price but available if required is a Brian James RS3 covered trailer. Works carried out as part of the engine build include: TTS strengthened k20z4 block casings, rebore & hone, bronze valve guides machined, honed and seats cut (+1mm), skim head, balance crank, machine cleaning & metal restoration, 2. 2 stroker kit (billet crank, custom pistons and connecting rods), ARP head stud kit, main bearings & rod bearings, camshafts, double valve springs with titanium retainers & spring seats, upgrade one piece valves (+1mm), sump supply, sump baffle, ported oil pump, water pump, upper gasket kit, lower gasket kit, oil pump chain, guide & tensioner, timing chain guides, timing chain, timing chain, tensioner, LMA springs, modified vtc sprocket, spark plugs, rocker cover restoration, new hardware, sundries, 5ltr running in oil and filter, light weight flywheel, Exedy stage 1 organic clutch, port and polish +1mm oversize valves.
