Description
One of the first cars imported into California in January 1969. As standard in the US, the car has an inline six-cylinder engine (2498cc/ 2. 5l) with twin Stromberg carburetors. Four-speed manual transmission with optional overdrive on 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears. Full restoration (dismantle and respray, engine and transmission rebuild) completed in 2006. Chrome air filters added to allow for increased air flow and to complement the stainless-steel headers and the Monza exhaust system. New front & rear brakes, master cylinder, u-joints, tubular shocks, springs, sway bars, motor & transmission mounts, and clutch. Owned since 2008. Full service record in the USA by Emiles Sports Car Performance in Santa Cruz, CA. The car was imported into the UK and registered in July 2018, allocated VVK601G. Mileage at time of export was 61002. Very limited summer use with low mileage in recent years. One of the first cars imported into California in January 1969, and a Californian car until imported into the UK in July 2018.
