A beautiful example of a Fordson Major Tractor. Ideal for a small holding, or take it to shows and on tractor runs. Currently part of a vehicle collection, it was purchased at the 2023 Castle Combe Steam Rally. The previous owner had the Tractor around 15 years and had been painstakingly restoring it over a 6-7 year period, the current owner knew the tractor anyway a purchased it the moment he saw it presented at the rally. The engine and gearbox have received a full rebuild as well as brakes refurbished. The bodywork is in brilliant order having been repainted along with the wheels. New tyres had also been fitted. Full nut and bolt resto.
The old girl runs as good as she looks, fitted with PTO and rear linkage. In current ownership it has only been out to keep all the bits moving on occasion on the estate. Just polished and ready to be enjoyed.
