Description
1966; Export Spec, Matching Numbers; Not 'Purist' correct but looks right and is a cracking bike that runs and rides very well. It is very smart but not a Concours Show winner. Recently benefitted from a top end overhaul including re-bore and pistons, new Monobloc Carburettors, complete rewiring, new seat, wheels rebuilt, exhaust, new clocks, tank repaint etc etc. Twin Leading Shoe brake plate from a 1968 machine fitted which works exceptionally well. The engine has also had the breathing system correctly modified to the Meriden Factory style post 1969 system of using the primary case as a catch tank to improve oil tightness. It was clearly rebuilt to be used; TRADE. p/ x welcome. More details, photos and video link to the machine running on our website at: ventureclassics. com
