Description
1965 AC Shelby Cobra 427 Roadster - one of Brian Angliss`s - therefore particularly valuable
A Cobra with a particularly valuable history is hereby offered. It is the Cobra with the chassis number CSX 3055, which was applied to the registration authority in America by none other than " Carroll Shelby" himself and was then actually used for a Cobra, which was ultimately built in England and initially sold to the former racing driver Nigel Hulme and later to the ex formula 1 racing team owner Alexander Lord Hesketh. The history is also very special and unique, because there was a Ghia coupé for which the same chassis number was also used.
This Cobra is mentioned in various international publications. The famous Brian Angliss, we read, completed this Cobra. The former owner Nigel Hulme described the enormous driving performance with the words "what a brute power is all about"
The car belongs to a German car collector has to part with the Cobra after almost 40 years for health reasons. The Cobra is in good condition, has been cared for, serviced and is therefore ready to drive. It is registered and has all the necessary registrations including the chassis number CSX 3055 stamped in the frame.
There is much more to report. This fantastic and unique Cobra is now available in our exhibition hall. By justifiable interest we would send more informations and later we would like to arrange a visit. You will be impressed. For questions don`t hesitate to send an email
