1967 MGBGT with overdrive, tax and mot exempt but current Mot until 31/ 05/ 2025(something I always do). I purchased the car in May last year from the son of a retired engineer who had sadly passed away, unfortunately the son was not really a car person and wasn’t able to help with much history of what his father had done. He had driven the car for 2 years and decided to sell it.
I found some paperwork which showed his father purchased it in 2013, the car had had a professional respray along with , heritage doors, wings, rear quarters and sills .
He then set about the mechanical side of things, new front and rear suspension and brakes, unleaded cylinder head and much more.
All the works had been carried out to a very high standard and being a retired mechanic myself, was happy at last to have found a proper car,( I had looked at quite a few )
There are a few extras he has fitted, rear wiper, electric cooling fan,(which works fine , but I have never had to use it )brake servo, intermittent wiper unit, and an oil cooler.
All I can say is the car drives as you would expect, and if you are looking for a GT and can take the time to come and view , you will not be disappointed. The wire wheels all 5 have just been refurbished and have new tyres fitted along with new hub spinners.
