Description
XKR Silverstone. Collectors item, 558 ever made. One of 40 only RHD coupes for Japan (UK got 50). It's been in New Zealand 4 years, all with me. Top condition, only minor marks and some repainting on the lower R front under-bumper (slightly different colour). Non-original boot badge (original was stolen. You can get them still). I've put 2 new front tyres on (genuine PZeros), 2 O2 sensors and a new battery 15th August 24. Timing chain appears to have been done in Japan, they used the original plastic tensioners but should be good till 160 to 200k km. It has a WoF (NZ's MOT, actually quite a demanding test) and AA mileage certification from when it was brought in from Japan. Not much to say, it's just clean and nice and of course exudes Grace and Pace. Enough Space for 2 persons, the back seat legroom is terrible but you won't be using it as a family car, will you?
Obviously you'll have to pay the shipping and make sure you can register it. This is a fabulous vehicle. Fast, handles beautifully. Suspension is taut not harsh. It's quiet and smooth and comfortable. It makes supercharger howl when you use the right pedal firmly. And by crikey it looks good! It oozes class and it's properly collectable, 558 ever made, some coupe, some convertible. The coupe handles better of course. The photos hardly do it justice. It was on the beach for 15 minutes only, btw. NZ does have roads, we aren't allowed to actually drive on a beach! Actually they don't use salt on roads here or in Tokyo, so no rust at all on the car.
