Description
The Norton was purchased by me in 2017 and has since been overhauled by a Norton/ Triumph specialist (Rottweil) at a cost of > € 8, 000. The engine, gearbox, clutch, frame bearings, duplex drum brakes and brakes were overhauled. The engine received new pistons, valves, rocker arms and bearings and the crankshaft was balanced. An oil pressure gauge was installed and a valve to prevent oil from returning to the crankcase. The gearbox was fitted with new main shafts, new bearings and shift forks. A new tank (steel) and new original Champbell low-frequency rear silencers were fitted. New Akront aluminium university rims, Pazon Surefire E ignition.
The overhaul took place in winter 2018.
The Norton also received a new seat. Since then, the bike has run just 1, 000 miles. The sale is taking place for reasons of time and age. The machine will receive a new MOT before sale I bought the Norton in 2017 and have since had it overhauled for > € 8, 000 by a Norton/ Triumph specialist (Rottweil).
