For sale after four years of very enjoyable ownership is my 1976 Chevrolet Camaro.
This car was imported into the UK in 2019 before I purchased it in 2020.
I have done an enormous amount of work to the car getting it just right, replacing fuel pumps, shock absorbers, springs, alternators, brakes, suspension bushes and so on to make the car so I could drive it anywhere in the country which I have done, covering many miles on trips to goodwood. Etc. and it’s a car I would not hesitate to drive anywhere.
The car has a huge folder of receipts to back up this work and a large quantity of spare parts that come with it.
It is fitted with a GM ZZ4 crate motor, this is a factory built Chevrolet engine available from
GM dealerships in America, so it in effect has a new 350 CI small block with all the good bits, high lift cam, aluminium cylinder heads, high compression, aluminium dual plane intake and four barrel carb, but factory built to the highest standards.
The current equivalent of this engine is the sp350 by Chevrolet performance which cost $7600.
This engine is backed up by a rebuild TH400 transmission which shifts crisply and instantly with a ratchet shifter and a 10 bolt rear axle.
It’s in overall excellent condition and is a very well sorted car, it is however 48 years old so does have some minor issues, mostly cosmetic.
I adore this car and the only reason for sale is that the agricultural business has grown and I simply don’t have time to enjoy it anymore.
