This beautiful and rare collectible was shipped over a few years ago with the up most motivation to be restore but unfortunately due to life circumstances, it hasn't gone to plan.
It has been stored up until recently in a hanger and away from the elements but due to a recent move it is now outside under a cover. Do not let that put you off though as there is zero penetrated rust, surface rust is of course is expected on a car that has been sat in a Californian field for 40 years then shipped here.
It has the original coded 262 inline 6 engine and Hydramatic gearbox, essentially the DSG box of the 50s. This car had all the extras from factory AND still has them all including the original radio. It may look a mess but this car has near all parts with it for a rolling restoration including brand new brake shoes and a brand new radiator. After doing some lengthy research, I found what makes this model so rare and that out on social media and all internet of things, I only found 5 other examples. Thus, having this car under your shelter or in your garage would be a privilege.
Asking price of £9500 but happy and open to sensible offers. Will only allow visitations by appointment only and for serious buyers due to my personal travel time.
