Description
1963 Mk1 convertible. Same owner since 2009 and spent the time bringing it up to this condition with necessary welding ( all new floor pans)replacement panels where needed and resprayed.
Interior has been replaced with reconditioned and recovered seats , door cards and carpets.
It has been converted to run on unleaded petrol and has electronic ignition.
Discs & pads and brake hoses all replaced and also rear brake shoes, steering ball joints and new tyres and tubes. Exhaust has been replaced throughout with twin centre box fitted (like GT6)
Last year it had agreed value insurance with Hagerty at 10K
I hardly ever use the car and only done short local trips (10 miles or so)
It is possible the nearsdie rear wheel bearing is on the way out as slight noise from that side at the back and also the gearbox is a little notchy when changing down into second gear but no other known faults
The car is as original and unmolested as it can be given its age which makes it quite rare example .
Interesting registration
