Description
Here I have for sale my Heritage Land Rover Defender 90 Td5 registered in 1999 and has covered just over 99700 miles.
For those of you that know, this is a rare vehicle with only 70 odd Defender 90s produced by Land Rover in Atlantic Green with full Lincoln Green leather as a nod to the original HUE 166.
This Defender has benefited from some serious TLC over recent years undergoing extensive refurbishment and maintenance which is mostly documented and includes;
New Richards Galvanised Chassis
New doors all round
Full external respray
New head lining
Full stainless exhaust
plus many new ancillary parts fitted/ completed by Broad Lane Land Rovers (2020)
Additional work/ upgrades include
LED running lights (not including headlights)
New aluminium battery box
New battery
Mantec spare wheel carrier
New fuel pump
Stainless door sills
Stainless upgrades have been used to replace the majority of fixings
Full Dinitrol treatment carried out by South West Rust Proofing (2024)
I have also installed a JVC head unit which is compatible with a rear reversing camera and has functioning Bluetooth connection for calls and audio.
Documentation references a 'gearing upgrade' and 'engine Tune Stage 1' by Nene Overland in 2014
The bulkhead is in excellent condition with one small repair carried out earlier this year to the footwell.
The door cards could do with replacing next as some of the fixings have broken (probably as a result of removal and refitment) but they are perfectly serviceable.
MOT runs to November 2024 and I am happy to put it through this years test and provide 12 months prior to sale.
I believe the private registration was applied in the first year of it's life and will be included in the sale.
I am sure there are things I haven't covered so please feel free to contact with any questions you may have and I will be more than happy to answer.
Note: the car is still in use and so mileage is likely to increase slightly from what is detailed here.
This car is a real head turner and a magnificent example of what is now a classic.
