It is the third Lotus Elite imported in USA
New engine by Britec Motorsports completed in 2023 with certificate and dyno (133 Hp or 98 KW at 7290 rpm)
Comes with the original FWE engine
Original transmission (mg gearbox)
4 new turrinos aluminum wire wheels in 4. 00’ Dunlop racing tires
Race steering wheel- original comes with the car.

Copy of Arizona Title
French Title and Road Registration.
Believed to be one of the 1960 Sebring 13 hours car imported and raced by Jay Chamberlain.
Extensive SCCA history on the west coast notably with Al Brizard..
Invited last year to Monterey Historics and LeMans Classic
Comfortably fits a 6’2” driver.
The new engine in the car is from Britec Race Motorsport and it came from Mattéo Panini (Maserati Museum) who had an extra engine from one of his Lotus.. Comes with the original FWE engine (correct number with chassis plate on the car ). and another magnesium rear differential 4. 20 (actually 4. 55) both with LSD ZF plate. Original steering wheel.
Good body condition and good paint. Small front crack on paint...
Inspection was made before and during the last race at Paul Ricard track at the end of August
The fiberglass is in very good condition showing no cracks around the differential cage or around the rear suspension.

BMC 4-speed straight-cut, close-ratio gearbox (recently rebuilt)
Original fiberglass/ polyester bodyshell
Front / wishbone suspension, new non-adjustable telescopic shock absorbers, anti-roll bar, disc brakes, 2-piston Girling AR2 aluminum calipers – “big brakes” (new braking system)
Rear / “Chapman struts”, new non-adjustable telescopic shock absorbers, inboard disc brakes, 2-piston Girling AR2 aluminum calipers (new braking system)
Facet dual electric fuel pump
Original competition aluminum tank, completely rebuilt recently, Restom treatment, FIA “explosion-proof” polyurethane foam

New Bucket seats, 6-point harness, fire extinguishers
