Description
I was using this car daily until I lost my job in January. I managed to run it for a while after that, but finances dictated I had to take it off the road. It is now uninsured and sorned and sitting in my front garden going to waste. If I had the choice, I wouldn't sell it.
It was mot'd shortly before I parked it, so has a valid mot until late January '25. It will need a pair of front wishbones for the next test.
The car has a few bumps and scrapes which I will attempt to highlight. ULEZ compliant. It has a couple of other niggles such as, only one speaker out of four works. The intermittant wipe has a mind of its own, and just before I parked it, the rear wiper started parking where it wants to.
Being a Ghia, it has a heated front screen which was an absolute godsend last winter.
The wheels are from a later Volvo and the tyres are very good. Goodyear front, Pirelli rear.
The car does not use any oil or coolant and always starts first turn of the key. No rust, just as mentioned, some bumps and bruises.
All in all, a great little runaround car. No offers on the price please.
