Description
In very good condition, lovely paintwork and interior: seats, trim, door cards, headlining and carpets all good.. Garaged from new with no bodywork or structural rust and good door alignment. Recently re-undersealed. 4400 on clock (104400) with only around 1500 done after complete engine rebuild caried out by very experienced Jag mechanic (a chat with him and the previous owner possible) and £6000 spent. Four speed Moss box with overdrive. Complete service history going back to 63. 4 new Michelin tubeless tyres with only about 40 miles covered on them. Recent complete overhaul of brakes, handbrake and new clutch slave cylinder.
Not absolutely perfect, a little bit of pitting on the chrome around the rear lights for instance but overall in very good condition and with the superb bullet proof 3. 4 Jag engine. It comes with: Full service history, Jaguar workshop manual, steering lock, Jerry can (E5 garages can be far away sometimes) an original and complete tool set, and a car cover. Economical and reliable transport available. A usable stylish classic that has been real pleasure for me to own and enjoy, motoring through the quiet Welsh countryside. It turns heads and gets waves as people admire its beautiful looks and certainly does embody “Grace, space and pace” as the old Jag tag line went. I have loved owning the car and I'm sad to let it go but an upcoming move abroad is forcing the sale.
