Description
Here we have a bmw e30 325i convertible mtec 1
It comes with a comprehensive service history and is moted till October 2025
Very few cars from the 80s and early 90s have aged as gracefully as the E30 cabriolets. Stylish, elegant, and an undeniable symbol of success back in the day, they have become a cult classic, leaving the originally more expensive Mercedes SL of the same period looking old and tired. The E30 was arguably BMWs masterpiece, from a time of over-engineering and obsessive quality control. The E30 configuration lends itself incredibly well to the convertible configuration, having a long, elegant, flat bodyline, perfect for roof removal. These cars are one of the most cost effective and easy to run modern classics, making the combination of looks, cred, reliability and cost an unbeatable classic package.
It has a stamped service history till 91500 miles, I got the car in 2010 at 105400 miles and have carried out a sympathetic restoration over that time.
It’s had over its time with me new:
Shock absorbers
Discs and pads,
Front control arms,
Anti rollbar links
Trackrods and steering control arms
Top mounts
Rear shock mounts
Prop, donut and centre bearing.
Scorpion rear back box.
New radiator
Alternator
Fan resistor
Wiper motor
Engine relays
New hood
Alpine speakers with cd player.
18 hour paint detail with 5 year ceramic coating
In 2023, cambelt, water pump, belts, tensioner, alternator.
To much to list but as result drives very well the engine is strong, runs cool doesn’t use water or oil, gearbox changes smoothly.
It is as original as it gets, there is age related car park dings 1 rust bubble on n/ s/ f lower wing but apart from that rust free.
The leather is original, but not ripped and is soft and well conditioned.
There is a small split on the dash board, and the fake wood trim kit is a actual oem bmw accessory.
The car is ready to enjoy by the next owner.
