Description
DATSUN 240Z 2. 4 151CV 1973 - The history of the Datsun/ Nissan Z line begins in 1969 in Japan, where the Nissan Fairlady Z was born. The famous Japanese sports car got its start after Nissan set out to develop a sports car and also introduce its cars to the United States. The legendary 240Z went into production in October 1969. As Nissan had no experience in this type of car, having previously only produced small cars for urban use in the midst of the reconstruction of post-war Japan, it had to come up with something new and different. It was against this backdrop that the Datsun 240 Z was born, an attractive, lightly built sports car with many attributes of reliability, robustness and dynamism. It was powered by a well-known engine, an OHC 2. 4 in-line six with two SU carburettors, delivering 151bhp, mated to a 5v manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. Production of the 240Z ended in September 1973. This beautiful example is in good condition. It comes in an elegant combination, with a ‘Brown Metallic’ exterior and a black interior.
