1966 Triumph Herald 1200 Saloon
Lovely Triumph Herald currently fitted with 1500cc Spitfire engine and overdrive gearbox.
The vehicle was fully restored with extensive rust-proofing to chassis about 12 years ago. Bodywork is now showing wear and tear from daily use, please see photos for more detail. The main areas in need of work are:
- off side front and rear wheel arches,
- along the bottom of both doors,
- an old dent in the off side rear quarter,
- Webasto sunroof fitted but in need of refurbishment.
Currently fitted out with 1960’s Revolution alloys.
Interior is in a decent state, original dash and excellent condition chairs with no rips or damage.
Up until about a year ago, the car was a daily driver. Although it starts and runs I would recommend a thorough safety check before taking it on the road.
The car has been well loved and always turns heads. A very reluctant sale!
