Red body/ red interior. Current owner: 14 years; previous owner: 40 years, who rebuilt/ restored it late 1980s – body off, chassis shot-blasted and re-painted, suspension rebuilt with telescopic front shock absorbers, wood replaced as necessary, engine rebuilt with balanced/ lightened crank, flywheel, etc, 1½” SUs, AEG 122 cam, etc, full respray (photos available). Matching numbers car, chassis TC 2465, engine XPAG 3097. Built 27. 03. 47 (T Register Factory Production Record). First registered Worcester City 08. 05. 47 to a Mr G A Jeffery, and has remained in the West Midlands area ever since. T-type register nr 1513. Always garaged over the past 54 years. Comprehensive record of its last 14 years’ history and some prior to that. Work over the 14 years (apart from routine servicing) has included (in 2024) light re-commissioning, full service, complete brakes overhaul incorporating all new wheel cylinders and new master cylinder, etc. Also during my ownership, new alloy rocker cover, stainless luggage rack, Bluemels Brooklands steering wheel, 2 new wheels and 3 new tyres, restored (Barry Walker/ John Marks/ Vintage Restorations) gauges and new switches, etc, discreet direction indicators, new FT27 fog lamp, new throwaway oil filter conversion and new oil pipes, new rear springs and fittings with poly bushes, VW steering box conversion (Steve Baker), SUs overhauled, replacement crack-tested (22952) George Edney big valve lead-free head, new valve springs, rocker pillars, cam followers, etc, (Aldon Automotive rolling road test – 70bhp). Continuation buff log book from 1961, TC instruction manual, MOT certificates 1980-2012 confirming mileages each year. Total mileage in last 54 years: 22, 053.
