Description
Reluctant sale of our family Land Rover, which has been with us for 30+ years.
Originally purchased from Woburn Land Rover as a stop gap due to my late father’s 110 being stolen( nothing changes !) , however it proved to be utterly reliable and stayed with us since.
Originally a marine blue van, the technicians at Woburn Land Rover “gave it a face lift” in the mid 90s, with a S3 front panel and wing fronts before spraying it red ( I have a correct S2 front panel).
It has a later 5 bearing engine, I can only assume this happened at the same time.
Used daily regularly until 2018 when it was park indoors and occasionally run.
Now ready for its next adventure, whilst it starts, runs and has been driven around the village, it is most definitely a recommission project. From a brief look, it requires attention to the brakes and the clutch hydraulics as they require a pump and I would strongly advise new brake lines and pipes, although it has new wheel cylinders and master. The drivers wiper motor is intermittent, most definitely a service! And the fuel drained and new fuel and filter.
A Landy I’ve grown up with, a reluctant sale. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I am happy to take more photos and answer any questions.
Whilst I am happy to take any interested buyers for a drive, the Land Rover will require a trailer for collection due to the brakes.
