Description
Welcome to the sale of my beautiful 1995 Peugeot 106 Roland Garros. This is a beautiful example and the vehicle has become very rare over the years. Originally registered by SideGate Great Yarmouth Peugeot in 1995. The vehicle has spent all its life in Norfolk and been very well looked after by myself and its previous owners. Now lives in my garage in London, my weekend driver which puts a smile on my face every time I get in it.
Very attractive to other motorists on the road, always gets a thumbs up.. I have owned many Peugeot 106's in the past, however I must say the Roland Garros is one of the best looking examples. Red seatbelts, two tone leather and cloth seats, electric windows, electric mirror, sunroof. Dealer badge and Roland Garros badge on the boot, JAEGER speedometer, original Roland Garros mats, I have the original stereo which will be included in the sale. I wanted a Bluetooth stereo to play my music.
I do not limit myself to only city driving, I can happily take it on the motorway and do a 200 mile round trip without having any issues. Smooth 5 speed gearbox and being the more powerful 1. 4 litre petrol, it is more enjoyable to drive.
Interior and exterior is in amazing condition for its age, there is only one other Roland Garros for sale online which I can find, with higher mileage and double the price I am asking. It's going to be very difficult if I wanted to find another Roland Garros in the future, with this sort of mileage and condition. Most importantly within this price range, it's very hard to see her ago.
The vehicle has had 4 previous keepers, a folder full of previous work which has been carried out and MOT print outs, along with its original owners manual, service book, road tax discs, brochures and manuals provided by the supplying dealership in 1995.
I can assure you that the vehicle will not disappoint you, I wish to stay in touch with the potential buyer to see if they wish to sell in the future.
The vehicle was subject to a write off in 2014 and is a category c. If you know about classic cars and modern classics, you will know that sometimes they aren't worth a lot of money. Even for minor damages the insurance companies can write these vehicles off due lack of parts and very low market values. This has never bothered me and you can see from the photos and video how amazing the condition truly is.
I have recorded a detailed video of the vehicle which can be sent upon request and there is more photos. Please feel free to get in touch to request.
MOT has just been done and is due OCTOBER 2025.
Perfect for a first time classic, weekend classic or an everyday classic. Cheap to insure and maintain. Turns heads and will always have a soft spot in the hearts of French vehicle enthusiasts. Named after the Roland Garros Tennis tournament in France.
If the vehicle does not gain any interest within the price I am asking, I will be driving it up to a professional vehicle storage company and paying them the annual fee upfront to store. Please be mindful, this is a private sale located in London, bank transfer only. I purchased this vehicle to take to car shows and keep for a very long time, however circumstances have changed and I have to let her go.
