Land Rover Defender Santana 1986.
Selling my defender as I need to reduce my collection.
The Defender spent its life in Southern Spain until it was brought into the UK in February 2023. It had been owned since 1987 by a restaurant owner who used for for local runs to and from his suppliers so has a genuine low miliege of below 48000 miles.
I have spent in the last year over £4000 with highlights below at the respected Land Rover experts Promec.
New drag links
New rear prop shaft
New engine mountings
New rear spring mount bushes
Stripped and adjusted front wheel bearing as play was present
Rectified exhaust
Tightened steering box as play play
New water pump
Hunter 4 wheel alignment
Fitted seat belts front
Full service
Stripped and cleaned lift pump and injection pump
Replaced front diff oil
Greased all around vehicle
Replaced wireing as required
Various other jobs so vehicle in first class condition
Bodywork in excellent condition throughout
Drives fantastic and a great drive for an early Defender
Interior in great condition
Roof can be fully taken off with fold down front windscreen
I have driven it this way as I prefer it with its safari roof.
Very solid chassis due to sunny climate in Spain
Selling several of my classics.
Speedo was working but has now stopped does not bother me but will try to get it looked at prior to completion of sale.
