EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This CLS63 AMG is finished in Iridium Silver metallic over a Black Nappa leather-trimmed interior, punctuated by handsome, grey-toned wood inlays on the dashboard and centre console.
It rides on the correct set of 19-inch five-spoke AMG alloy wheels shod in Pirelli P Zero tyres.
Factory features include an electric glass sunroof, Parktronic front and rear parking sensors, the COMAND media system, keyless go, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and an electric rear roller blind.
It also features the flat-bottom AMG Performance Steering Wheel as a factory option, a premium Harman Kardon sound system, remote boot closing, automatic climate control, a CD changer, and bi-xenon headlamps with active curvelight.
The vehicle will be supplied with all of its original owner’s manuals and booklets, two keys, and a selection of invoices from main dealer Mercedes-Benz Brooklands, where the car has always been serviced.
The cherished number plate shown on the car is not included in the sale.
CONDITION
The Iridium Silver metallic paintwork is in generally very good condition, showing light minor wear such as stone chips and small markings expected from a car of this age.
Inside, the cabin presents very well, with some creasing on the black leather-trimmed seats, with more present on the driver’s seat, but with no major wear present anywhere.
The wood trims all present very well, with no discernible marks or cracks.
Generally the interior belies its mileage and presents in impressive overall condition.
The car’s last MOT test took place on 24 November 2023 at 89, 917 miles, and is due to expire 8 December 2024.
There is a mileage discrepancy on the 2015 MOT test. There is a affidavit from the then-owner of the car, which is provided, and states that this was because the odometer had been switched to read in kilometres per hour for a European road trip, and the garage has incorrectly recorded the kilometre odometer reading as miles. (please see picture of the email)
SERVICE HISTORY
In my ownership I have changed the alternator belt and recently the engine and transmission mounts, as well as the rocker cover gaskets and front cover gaskets. I have also had the car serviced (oil and air filters) and gearbox service and gearbox oil cooler replaced at PCS (Mercedes specialist).
Prior to that it was serviced in September 23 at 89, 721 miles by main dealer Mercedes-Benz Chelmsford. The work comprised of a ‘B’ service with an engine oil and filter change, combination filter, air filter and new coolant reservoir sensor.
Before that in 2021 at 75, 980 miles which was an ‘A’ service including an engine oil, and oil filter change, and during 2018 at 72, 110 miles it received a change of V belt and three new pulleys, the tensioner and replacement of the front tyres, both services were at Mercedes-Benz Brooklands.
During March 2022 the car’s underside was Waxoyl treated, and the wheels refurbished, and during June 2022 the car received a replacement power steering pump reservoir.
