Description
50cc Trials moped.
I bought the bike as a restoration project. It was complete but had been languishing in a shed for many years. I decided to keep as much of the original bike as possible.
Any parts that were salvageable were rechromed or painted. I replaced the parts that were too far gone, such as mudguards and wheel rims, with new sourced via Bob Wright motorcycles.
The engine and gearbox are in good original order and only needed a decoke and new rings. Judging by the condition, the mileage would be correct. Since restoration, I have ridden the bike around the village only in the dry. This is, as I am sure you know, one of the best unrestricted mopeds of the 1970's and is quite rare. I understand that Gilera made this bike in Candy apple red for one year only.
Happy to provide more photos or video if required.
