Description
From the 1971 to 1973 model years, a facelifted version of the popular Mach 1 was produced, slightly trimmed down compared to the original version. Nevertheless, key details remained – such as the SportsRoof, the honeycomb grille with fog lights, and the gold or black Mustang – Mach 1 decals on the sides and rear...
Well, this car doesn’t have those decals. It has undergone a body restoration, has a new paint job, and comes in an attractive two-tone combination (which isn’t original). The V8 engine has also been modified – in this case, the 351 Cleveland 2-V with a displacement of 5766 cm³, which in its original configuration delivered 159 horsepower and 353 Nm of torque. It has been completely rebuilt and now features new Edelbrock heads and a large new carburetor, so it certainly won’t be lacking in performance, even with a weight of 1548 kg. It’s paired with a three-speed automatic Cruise-O-Matic transmission that transfers the torque to the rear wheels. The car has undergone a full transformation, which also means that traditional gauges have been replaced with modern digital displays. A significantly reworked, customized car offered at an attractive price, ready to delight its new owner tomorrow.
