Description
Fiat Barchetta (LHD) 2005. 56, 177 km (34, 830 miles) Superb condition throughout, unmolested lovely and rare example. Full service history with 9no documented services being completed. My Fiat Barchetta is an absolutely genuine car in outstanding condition with extensive documented history. The car benefits from being a Japanese import with my purchase being soon after it arrived in the UK, never driven in the rain during my ownership (looks like it has never ever seen any adverse weather conditions through its life) and stored in an integral heated garage. Please study the photographs especially the underside of the car, quite amazing. You could be excused from thinking the car is less than a year old apart from some surface corrosion on the exhaust. It has been confirmed that the underside is a factory finish, no aftermarket underseal etc. I do not believe the car has had any paintwork undertaken.
An example such as this is becoming more collectable by the year and with the condition and provenance I believe fairly rare. I would preferably keep the car however I only have room for one car in the garage and after nearly 2 ½ years of ownership and a fantastic road trip around Spain and Portugal this summer where the car behaved impeccably, I have reluctantly decided to sell the car due to space.
Soon after purchase even though the car had an extensive service history, knowing I would be driving down to southern Europe I had the following precautionary work undertaken and anything else that was required. Not that anything was noted apart from the question of replacing the exhaust with a brand new Fiat item to retain the look of a nearly new car. I have not to date replaced the exhaust as I thought it was a little excessive for a little surface corrosion on an exhaust.
