The most recent MOT test took place on 25 January 2024 at 85, 437 miles, resulting in a pass with advisories for slight play in the offside front lower suspension arm ball joint – this ball joint has since been replaced.
Any inspection welcomed. The last service was carried out in May 2023 at 85, 435 ~ work carried out as follows:
Engine oil and filter change, replacement of fuel pump, spark plugs, brake fluid, coolant, steering joints, and screen wash bag. Carburettors retuned/ balanced plus rewiring of the horn and washers. Also during 2023, the ignition leads, distributor cap and rotor arm were replaced.
In 2019, the brakes were replaced and the carburettors were rebuilt. The seats were also retrimmed with new carpets and sound-proofing.
The engine received a full top-end rebuild 11 years ago, which included new valves, guides, seals, head gaskets, plugs.
The shock absorbers and springs, clutch, brake discs and pads were also replaced, and all four brake callipers were reconditioned.
All four tyres, the header tank, the door handles and the outer badges have been replaced, and the starter and alternator have also been rebuilt.
Parts also replaced include the grille, bumpers, fuel tank and sender, radiator surrounds, wheel nuts, exhaust, rubber boot mats, footwell mats, battery. Additionally, the radiator and the wheels were refurbished.
The whole car is in stunning condition with zero rust issues on top or underneath.
