Description
For sale Jeep CJ7 Renegade
This is/ was a RHD vehicle which started to be converted to LHD for a production company, story is the shows intended guest had a shady background and the project was shelved a while ago.
The steering box and column have been moved from RHD to LHD for LHD 'look' nothing has been done permanently, the dash still has the correct holes for the column to move back, the battery tray needs switching sides as does the brake servo (brake pin isn't even through the firewall !!) It was all done gimmicky to appear LHD
I bought the vehicle with good intentions of converting back to RHD and enjoying it until a full resto could be afforded.
I've sourced an upgraded steering box, service parts and a very very elusive original plastic fuel tank.
The vehicle runs from a can (as the tank isn't connected) video can be provided to prove this.
It has two front seats and a back seat all in fair condition, centre console and fold down roof (this will need work)
Console wise all gauges are there but assume they need the wiring/ electrics looking over.
Frame has small areas of surface rust and I've found one small area at the back that will need a plate. There may be more but I've not fully dug into it.
Paint is a 5 footer, looks good but whoever did it didn't take care on rubbers etc, I believe the grille is actually chrome which has just been blown over with blue paint!
It will need a brake servo and MC as I haven't purchased this yet.
Jeeps don't come up too often, it's definitely a project but one that could/ should be saved
Reason for sale is I'm buying one in much better condition already done so this will be surplus to requirements
Vehicle is in secure storage but happy to show genuine interested parties
I'm on the details below for questions
I have priced this at almost exactly what I have now spent in purchasing the vehicle, spare parts new & used and storage thus far, I don't mind a small haggle but the price is almost where I need it to be to sell it (just so we don't waste each others time thinking you'll haggle to a £4k purchase price)It's a Jeep! they're cool and not many about on the UK roads, definitely worth saving
