This car has covered just 7000miles in 17 years approx 400 miles a year , and has just 70k which is documented by Vosa/ dvla and previous history , I’m sure there are many parts I’ve missed out.
I purchased this car with the intention of making a reliable weekend
driver that I could do the odd track day with and have total peace of mind it would be reliable , I wasn’t chasing big power figures ( I unfortunately never got it out on track in the end) so I opted for a cdb and had fully forged engine built, ( I have lots of photos of the engine build ) with fuelling mods to support, styling wise I’ve always preferred the RA look of a gc8 so opted to remove the skirts and spats and fit a number of rare yet oem parts to achieve what you see.
Mechanically the car is spot on and ready to run higher boost or be enjoyed as is, cosmetically it has some small marks and dents the worse being the bonnet , it’s had some localised paint like most 90s jap cars of this age bit is still a presentable car as pictured, the interior is in very good order with minimal wear , mint door cards and plastics are in great shape , not all scuffed or scratched.
The rear arches and pockets are all solid and never been previously welded, the car is solid in all the correct places . The underside has minimal surface rust but again it’s an unrestored car.
Overall this is a nice useable classic you can just jump in and enjoy, it’s not a garage queen you’ll be scared to use , however it wouldn’t take a lot to turn it into a show car if that was the desired route, this cars had a very sheltered life and it’s time to go to a good home and be enjoyed and driven .
Private number plate is a tribute to Colin McRae , group A and is INCLUDED with the car.
