Description
The Vysočanská Aircraft Factory Aero began automobile production in 1929, becoming famous for its simple, popular cars with two-stroke engines. In 1931, it started developing a larger model that culminated in the Aero 30, designed by workshop leader Josef Bašek with an innovative low platform frame and front-wheel drive concept. The car was first presented at the Prague Auto Show in April 1934, where it generated great interest and received many orders. The Aero 30 became a popular model in then-Czechoslovakia, manufactured until 1947, and was successfully used in races and competitions.
This specific Aero 30 was completely renovated eight years ago, which included a complete overhaul of the 998 cc engine, which now offers the performance and reliability of the original machine. The renovation also focused on the interior, where the seats were reupholstered, and all surfaces were restored, preserving the authentic look and atmosphere of a 1930s vehicle. A new convertible top was also installed, highlighting the classic elegance of this model. The mechanical parts of the car, including the transmission, electrical system, brakes, and axles, were thoroughly checked and repaired to meet current safety and operational reliability requirements. The car also received a new coat of elegant red paint. This renovation ensured that the Aero 30 is not only a beautiful historical piece but also a fully functional car, ready to hit the roads once again.
