It is with great sadness that I have decided to sell my much loved 4. 4-litre, 1998 BMW 840 E31 Sport.
The car is finished in Oxford Green with Parchment leather interior and has covered just over 111, 000 miles, which is obviously well below average for the year.
After nearly 8 years of ownership, enjoying the admiring looks wherever it goes and the smooth V8 engine, it's time to let someone else enjoy it as I have. Throughout my ownership I have used it constantly, but sparingly, ensuring it's well-looked after and yet remaining a very useable piece of BMW history. Unfortunately, the older I become the less I find I'm using it, covering less than 1, 000 miles in the last year.
It has an MOT until Feb 2025 and imagine it would breeze through the next one. It had a new radiator, water pump and battery this year for the new owner's peace of mind.
If I were keeping it then there are one or two other jobs that I would carry out but I've priced the car very sensibly at £12, 500 to take this into account. Hopefully the new owner can decide how to take it forward in their ownership and happy to discuss this with any potential buyer.
