Description
The Jaguar XF arrived in 2008 to replace the S-Type as the marque’s medium sized saloon. This model, the five litre supercharged XFR appeared a year later.
Having covered only 49, 000 miles and presenting very smartly in Arctic White over black, this 2013 car features the slightly sharper styling that arrived with the 2011 XF facelift, as well as the 8 speed gearbox and 20” wheels that came with the 2012 upgrade of the XFR. It has the Premium specification interior, this including details such as carbon fibre infills and a leather covered dash. This particular vehicle also features some carefully chosen upgrades taken from its more overtly sporting sibling the XFR-S, the most notable of these being an increase in power to 575bhp.
Unfortunately the Jaguar did suffer some damage earlier in its life, but this has been meticulously rectified by its current owner, a respected motorsport engineer and BRDC member with many year’s experience in British Touring Cars and International Endurance Racing, including several entries at the Le Mans 24 Hours. Cars of this nature have recently acquired a reputation for being expensive to maintain, and particularly to insure. However, the current owner reports that, since taking ownership of the Jaguar in 2018, he has found it perfectly possible to keep costs to a manageable level through the use of carefully selected specialists to handle these aspects. The car has recently undergone a full service and has covered less than 1000 miles since.
With Jaguar now very possibly moving away from its traditional role as a builder of high performance saloons, and indeed away from the internal combustion engine entirely, the XFR may in future come to be seen as the last in a storied line. This excellent example could be your chance to own a piece of that history.
Please note, I am advertising this vehicle on behalf of its owner and will be handling any initial enquiries.
