This rare Alfa GTV Cup Number 106 of 155 has recently emerged from a 7 year slumber!
The history of this desirable special edition is widely known but if you don't here it is.
In 2001 through to 2002 Alfa decided to produce a special road going GTV to commemorate an Italian single car (GTV Cup) race series.
In the U. K. a total allocation of 155 of these beautiful GTV Cup’s from this Limited Edition series were sold. All of these cars were produced in Alfa Red with a unique Momo interior including a Serie Limitata plaque (in red text), a “Cup” kit featuring a wrap around body kit, classic teledial wheels in a unique titanium colour, side vents, rear spoiler and all with the glorious 3 Litre V6 24 valve Busso engine.
The history file is immense.

Over £4000 spent between 2016/ 2017 at Gonnella Brothers Alfa specialists incl cambelt at 113, 808 miles, all shock absorbers, all coil springs, full underseal which has kept the underside in good condition and other items.
It comes with the valuable reg number D9 CUP will stay with the car and looks rather good.
All keys present inc the red master key and code card!
All manuals present incl original folder.
It came off the road in 2017 due to the alternator failing and was stored away.
It runs well and the engine sounds glorious!
It drives well.
Gearbox good with good synchromesh.
Brakes surprisingly good after being laid up.
New alternator.
New oil and filter.
As new tyres all round.
The wheels were refurbished by Lepsons in 2015 in the correct Cup exclusive chrome finish and still look superb with only a few small chips.
The bodywork is 50 shades of red/ pink! Lacquer peel on most panels and small scratches, dings and touch ins. It will need a complete respray if you want it shiny!
It comes with a brand new Cup front bumper to be painted and fitted (£600 to buy)
Faults incl an airbag light, drivers seat belt buckle is fragile (good used buckle here ready to fit), fuel gauge faulty, crack in windscreen and heater flap not opening so limited warm air.
Everything else appears to work at the moment!
Top examples of the Cup are priced between 15-20k so this represents a sensible price project car that can be used and enjoyed and improved over time if you wish.
