Description
Purchased as a stopgap earlier in the summer to keep me mobile after the sale of my E38 740i and also to keep me entertained tidying it up a bit. It’s been absolutely brilliant but now it’s time to move on to something a bit more long term despite my wife absolutely loving it!
My expectations were low but it’s been bulletproof! I’ve done well over 1500 miles in it all over the country. It can be left for weeks and starts first time, the V8 is happy to sit in traffic on hot days and makes wonderful noises. The Harmon Kardon sound system is fully functioning and sounds absolutely banging. This was my first Range Rover, it will not be my last.

Overall I’ve spent about £2k on maintenance. The rear section of the exhaust has also been replaced prior to my ownership and sounds brilliant (it’s a standard looking system but must make more noise than standard).
It’s no major hardship for me to keep it, but I have an itch for something else. I have the air suspension to go with it, if not sold before end of the month goes in for air to be reinstated and price goes up!
Like any old car, it’s not perfect so please expect marks and stone chips on the body. The air con is not working as it needs a new condenser, this has the book symbol on but the heat distribution via blend motors seems to work fine. Finally the washer level sensor is broken so bongs on start, replacement is with the car just not fitted.
All in all a lovely looking sounding and driving classic Range Rover that is very reliable and relatively low miles. Happy to answer questions for genuine buyers and take you on an extended drive to demonstrate how lovely this car is.
