Description
Triumph Herald 1200
Very low mileage of 32, 100: 3 owners from new including myself (it has done less than 200 miles in my ownership)
Since owning new tyres have been fitted and the wheels have been refurbished.
It also comes with new hub caps and and slotted wheel trims.
2 windscreen finisher strips, 2 windscreen finishing joiners and hardtop seals kit (9 pieces) purchased from James Paddock.
There are also numerous other spares - brake pads, brakes shoes, clutch and many more.
The paint work is flat, but still presentable, I have just given it another wax followed by a hydro slick hyperwax finish.
The bodywork is good. No welding is required as far as I know, A few rust spots, but easy to prep. A ding in the bonnet and one in the bumper end cap.
The interior vinyl seats, cards and even footwells are A1, almost as new. Carpet is not ! but I have not tried to clean. There is no heater, but a portable plug in will resolve. Lovely car. Would suit enthusiast, or newcomer who wants a straight forward project without a large outlay.
Very good providence - I have original bill of sale and related paperwork.
Tax and MOT free, plus ULEZ exempt.
Great fun to drive with its legendary turning circle.
Very reliable. Always starts on the button - choke out and a couple of pushes on the accelerator and its running.
Only selling because I have run out of space.
Buyer will not be disappointed.
Inspection and test drives welcome by arrangement.
Will accept £3, 250, but nothing less, because if used as a daily run around as a classic car it will pay for itself in a matter of a few years, especially without the complexity of the modern electrics of today and the extensive spares it comes with.
