BMW R80GS Basic 1996 – Rare very low mileage example with less than 10, 000 miles since new . I have the original speedometer showing 12112 Km (7526miles) plus the MPH speedometer, as fitted, showing 2070 miles.
First registered in Germany on 16 April 1997, re-registered in IOM on 5 June 1998, bought by the previous owner on 9 June 2000, owned by me since January 2003.
Fitted with UK front light. Tool kit included, as well as the original speedometer, front lamp and an unused low front mudguard.
I have fitted a new Odyssey battery and the engine runs very smoothly. The BMW R80GS Basic is a very special motorcycle being the last 2 valve boxer engine BMW motorcycle and produced only in 1996.
It is now too big for me to ride so it needs to go to a good home where it can be enjoyed.
