A shed find last year I have owned the bike for about 18 months. Unrestored with matching engine and chassis numbers and with a carb clean, new spark plug, fuel and 2 stroke oil it kicked over and started, running very well. Other items repaired or replaced were rear indicators, some bulbs, fork stem oil seals and new oil, 6v battery, front brake shoes, mirrors and other service items. The bike then passed its MOT and I have enjoyed riding it during the last twelve months covering 800 trouble free miles with another MOT passed in July this year.
I spent many hours cleaning the chrome parts which have come up like new with the exception of the spokes which could do with more of a clean but all are tight and undamaged. The tank has some marks on it but is original so have polished and left alone. I believe this bike to have been owned locally, the engine is quiet and pulls well, cruising at 50mph comfortably and achieving 100mpg easily in fact I have been out on it today completing 30 trouble free and highly enjoyable miles. I am selling due to a house move with reduced storage so it is with heavy heart that it has to go, this great little machine can be ridden as is or some small tinkering to improve may be what you have in mind over the winter and it comes with some small spare items as well. Replacement parts are readily available and are very cheap.
