2002 BMW 540i M-sport Touring Auto. Black. 90, 000 miles only. Sapphire metallic with grey leather. Electric memory heated front seats, double glazing, sunroof, cruise control etc.
Fitted with after market supercharger! I haven't had this car on a dyno but similar conversions produce around 420HP and 400 ft/ lbs. Performance similar to an E39 M5.
Bad bits. at some time the car was reversed into something with the tailgate up, this has left a small crease in the roof (pictured). I have fitted a replacement tailgate and hinges. A couple of areas of paintwork would benefit from attention (pictured) and a couple of very small dings. The tailgate wiper, wash and the heated window do not work, nor does the CD autochanger.
Good bits. Stunning performance. It really is impressive. New brakes all round (rotors, calipers and pads) so it stops too! Very clean interior with wood trim (I also have the original aluminium trim which will go with the car). The only corrosion I can find is on the bottom edge of the tailgate window, the sills and jacking points are completly sound. All the original booklets in the original cases are with the car. Service history up to 78, 500 miles. Loads of maintenance receipts. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning and driving this car, long journeys are a dream and the performance is readily on tap when needed.
