M120HFP has had 3 previous owners. I purchased it at the beginning of December 2020 in South Yorkshire but it was not delivered to me until June 2021 due to covid restrictions. In the intervening 6 months it was kept in a professional classic car storage facility. It was a private sale from a friend who had owned the car for a long time and looked after it meticulously, always routinely serviced and anything that needed doing was done. The latest work he had done I believe was a replacement A/ C compressor and alloy wheel refurbishment. He had an extra brake light fitted at the rear window. The body and paintwork are in vey good order. In the three and a half years I have had the car I have done 4000 miles only due to health problems. It runs very smoothly and is a pleasure to drive. It has not been used in a Scottish winter being dry stored in my son's barn in a "carcoon" during that time. For summer it has a waterproof cover (included in the sale). It is MOT'd until June 2025 (no advisories). At it's last service (90, 000miles) I had all the fluids replaced and a complete check of the vehicle. The garage were impressed with condition and at over 80 yrs I have to rely on professional opinions. Major work I have had done was attention to 4 small blisters in the paintwork at edge of the windscreen. This was known before I bought I purchased the car and rectified immediately. This involved removing and then replacing the windscreen and a respray of the roof. 400 miles ago I had a new set of tyres fitted. The existing ones had plenty of wear left but were 10yrs old. Some work that may need doing in the future could be the radio aerial sticks at times (due to lack of use). Door seals will perhaps need replacing before too long and there is a slight sag in the head lining although it is in good order material wise. I have had many cars in 65 years of driving including 3 other classics. In the last 18 months it has had minimal use. Since the MOT in June it has done one trip totalling 350 miles. As I can no longer drive I was chauffeured by my wife who enjoyed it immensely. I have always wanted a Jaguar because of their presence, design, style and class - what modern cars lack. Even though I cannot drive due to unreliable eyesight, as a final car this was the perfect choice. The reason for this particular model is the flying buttress design which is unique and increases its presence and has been admired at the many shows we have attended.
