Very honest reliable classic Volvo. Serviced by Volvo from new. Registered late November 2000. Mechanically excellent and no rust. A few age related exterior marks which are to be expected. Very clean inside and out, very smooth and economical to drive. Recent new Brembo front discs and pads, new front tyres, plus recent Yuasa heavy duty battery with warranty until June 2028. MOT until May 2025, passed last MOT with no advisories. Recent oil & filter service including spark plugs & air filter. Unmarked upholstery and carpets plus very clean boot space with unused space saver wheel, jack, brace etc and original Volvo warning triangle and boot space cargo net tidy. Drives great with smooth automatic 5 speed gear change and regularly returns 45 miles per gallon. Super comfortable seats & awesome 8 speaker sound system which is standard equipment to the car, plus automatic electric ariel. Air bags front and rear plus SIPS (side impact protection) My son has loved this car and is sorry to see it go as it has been a great companion. Only selling due to upgrading to a classic SUV. Vehicle registered: 30/ 11/ 2000The Volvo came to us via a family friend who purchased it new from Pilling Volvo in Hemel Hempstead 30/ 11/ 2000 as an ex demonstrator, when the owner sadly passed away it was transferred into his wife’s name and then onto my son when she was unable to carry on driving due to ill health. So the car has really only had 2 owners.
Between 2017 & March 2023 it had hardly been used hence the gap in the otherwise regimented service schedule. Mileage was 73, 000
It was then put through its MOT & only failed on a front suspension spring, which was replaced along with a new top housing, then on 29/ 12/ 2023 at 81, 879 it was given a full service inc oil, oil filter, air filter and plugs. It was also fitted with new Brembo front discs & pads, plus two new front tyres.
The car now shows 87, 940
It’s been a great daily driver and deserves to go to a good home.
This was my sons first car and has been surprised how many compliments he has had about it.
