Selling my rare and low mileage MX5 MK1, Eunos import edition with lots of desirable upgrades as standard from factory. Low mileage only 59k (or 95km), this car was kept in dry storage before having a fully mechanical recommission over the past year for its latest MOT. Comes with a full 12mth MOT till Aug 2025 (no advisories). Never been welded and absolutely zero rust or corrosion anywhere which is exceptional to find for such a car.
The silver stone paint and bodywork are in excellent condition. Solid sills and rear arches which have all their original spot-welds as shown in the pictures. There are no rust bubbles or any other signs of any corrosion.
This car drives absolutely brilliant. All receipts and pictures are available for extensive mechanical work done including new cambelt, water-pump, drive belts, slave clutch cylinder etc. Full engine service including all oils, coolant and filters (oil/ fuel). New brake discs and pads fitted to both front and rear, plus a brake fluid flush. Brand new battery fitted and window wipers.
Being a Eunos edition, this model came with many upgrades including a V-Limited Slip Differential, air-conditioning, power-steering and additional bracing. The lightweight Enkei alloy wheels are in great condition and really suit the car. It has also had a brand new soft top roof fitted with a clear plastic window that makes it look very smart.
On the interior the condition is very clean and tidy. There are no rips or signs of wear on the fabric seats and all the internal buttons/ dials are in good working order. Both the electric windows were serviced with new glide rollers and grease, so are now in perfect working order.
I’ve owned this car for just over 1-year, however due to current house move it will either need to sell or go into storage. Being offered for sale in the meantime, a rare opportunity for someone to purchase a low mileage high spec MK1, which is in excellent overall condition. Ready to drive and enjoy.
