THREE fabulous Austins, buy the lot or take your pick!!
A fabulously original looking 1927 12/ 4 'Windsor'. A fully restored 1925 12/ 4 'Clifton Tourer. A 1929 16/ 6 2. 3 Ltr Burnham deluxe Limo in very original livery. Very very sadly, All but one just has to go as we are moving to Anglesey. All are beautiful, A fully working and reliable and in brilliant condition.
All are used daily - but we can't take any 2 of them. The 'Clifton Tourer' is now £21, 000 after many thousands spent on it (referb'd AutoVac, refurb'd dynamo, referb'd brass Carb', Lots of electricals) . The 16/ 6 is now £18, 000 after much work (new dynamo, new contactless distributor, new tyres etc). The 12/ 4 'Windsor' is now £17. 500 after being rewired, new electronic battery management, referb'd Carb' and referb'd dynamo and new electronic distributor. All this work could be reversed but it makes them start on the button, not fail due to dirty tanks or water in the fuel and a charges into a sound new battery (not boiled away!!) They are NOT cheap disposals as you get exactly what you pay for. Buy any one or two or all thee. The 'Clifton' was a long search for the right car. Its actually 'Gumdrop II' (of Val Biro's books). Its also my SUMMER car, stored all its life in a garage. The 16/ 6 'Burnham' was a very long search after dismissing many others cheaper; It's very original, powerful and a rare version. The 12/ 4 'Windsor' has been tastefully restored with a photo history proof of being taken right down to bare metal. We would easily keep ONE - the 'Clifton' being one of two favourites.
