The car is in very good condition.
The paintwork is nice and tight, the bumpers are new, and the skai seat covers have recently been replaced, as have the door trim and rear side panels. The roof lining is clean and tear-free.
Mechanically, the engine runs perfectly, with no smoke emissions; it revs smoothly and delivers good power, and the five gears in the gearbox shift perfectly.
The steering is precise, with no play, and the car is fitted with a reinforced steering box, a weak point in Bertone coupés and in all Alfa cars of this era.
The car drives and brakes in a straight line.
Its cromodora-style aluminium wheels are in mint condition, and the accompanying file gives a partial history of the car's maintenance and roadworthiness over the past 17 years.
