The car presented here is a Series 2 equipped with the 4. 2L in-line 6. Originating in the United States, this Type-E arrived in our country in 1992. In superb British Racing Green (original yellow) with race-style decoration, a few additional modifications were made: - Weber twin-barrel carburettors (45DCOE 152) - 15" (38mm) steering wheel - Complete 'Big Bore' stainless steel line - Front bucket seats - GPS meter - Self-locking axle (43/ 14) 3. 07/ 1 - Installation of an hour meter - Circuit-breaker Factory-equipped with an automatic gearbox, this has been replaced by a mechanical 4-speed gearbox, making it a very pleasant and engaging car to drive. These modifications make this Type-E an ideal tool for competing in VHC / VHRS events, while remaining perfectly usable for a 'normal' Sunday drive on our roads.
The car was last serviced in January 2024.
